Which press desk suppliers hide their prices from Dutch buyers in 2026?

Many press desk suppliers that serve the Dutch market do not list their prices on their public websites. A buyer who wants to compare costs must contact each vendor by phone or email to get a quote. The suppliers that publish no public price for Dutch buyers include Prezly, Mynewsdesk, Prowly, Cision, Meltwater, Muck Rack and Notified.

On the pages we measured on 31 August 2026, none of these seven vendors showed a price in euros or in any other currency for a Dutch or Belgian user. Prowly does publish USD 258 per month on its pricing page, but it publishes no euro amount and no price that is specific to the Netherlands or Flanders. For a Dutch buyer who wants a clear number before making a decision, these vendors offer no starting point.

What does a press desk subscription actually cost for a Dutch team in 2026?

Among the suppliers that do publish a price, the range is wide. PR-Dashboard offers four separate products that each work on their own. De Perslijst, a journalist database and sending system, costs EUR 2,650 per year for two logins, measured on the PR-Dashboard product pages on 1 September 2026.

The newsroom product, a newsroom on the customer's own domain, starts at EUR 1,750 with no period stated on the page. The press-question module, a system for handling incoming press questions, costs EUR 2,700 also with no period stated. These three amounts come from the supplier product pages, read 1 September 2026.

Presspage publishes EUR 20,000 per year for its Business essentials plan and EUR 35,000 per year for its Enterprise full platform, both measured on presspage.com/plans on 31 August 2026. Mynewsdesk publishes EUR 220 per month for Essential on its English language plan page. These are the only vendors in the measured set that show a price at all.

Why do so many press desk vendors keep their prices secret in the Netherlands?

Vendors that do not publish prices often say that pricing depends on the number of users, the volume of press releases, or the specific features a buyer needs. Cision, Meltwater, Muck Rack and Notified all ask potential customers to book a demo or call sales to get a quote. None of them document a starting price on the pages we measured on 31 August 2026.

For a Dutch buyer, this means comparing these vendors requires time and effort. A buyer must fill in a contact form, wait for a sales call, and then receive a custom quote that may change depending on negotiation. The same applies to Prezly and Prowly.

Prezly does show a price in euros on its pricing page, but the page does not state whether that price applies to Dutch users or includes the Netherlands and Flanders in its coverage. Prowly shows USD 258 per month but publishes no euro price and no page that addresses the Dutch market directly. The lack of a public price makes it harder for a buyer to plan a budget without first talking to a sales representative.

The table is sorted by cost per user per year, from lowest to highest. Among these five, Prezly Essential has a lower cost per user per year than that database, but Prezly publishes no Dutch language page and does not state whether it covers the Netherlands and Flanders. What do the suppliers that publish no price offer for Dutch buyers in 2026?

Suppliers without a public price still serve Dutch buyers. Cision, Meltwater, Muck Rack and Notified are large international platforms that offer media databases, monitoring and analytics. They are used by many Dutch organisations.

However, none of them document a starting price on the pages we measured on 31 August 2026. Prowly publishes USD 258 per month but no euro price, and its robots.txt page, measured on 31 August 2026, serves no robots.txt and no sitemap. The supplier owns the Dutch platform this Dutch platform, which combines a journalist database, an online newsroom, press inquiry handling and media monitoring.
